Wills and Bequests
Many people choose to leave a bequest to support the church as part of their legacy. We are very grateful if you remember St. Kieran Catholic Parish in Miami, Inc. (our legal name) when drawing up your will. We depend on bequests and donations to continue the legacy of our church that has served the faithful in Miami for over 60 years.
Charitable Donations of Stock
St. Kieran Catholic Parish also accepts donations of stocks. For many people, the tax benefits of this way of supporting the church are very attractive. We recommend speaking to your financial adviser about the benefits of donating stocks.
Tax-Free IRA Gifts
Individuals aged 70 or older may make tax-favored charitable gifts from traditional and Roth IRA accounts. Recent legislation retroactively extends the charitable IRA rollover from 2015 and makes this provision permanent for future years.
Donor Advised Fund
A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is often administered by a financial services company or a community foundation. It allows you to combine favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support St. Kieran Catholic Parish. During your lifetime, you can recommend a grant to St. Kieran Catholic Parish in Miami, Inc. from your DAF at any time. You may also designate one or more beneficiaries to receive the remaining contributions after your lifetime.
